FoamScan HTMP™ - foam analysis under harsh environmental conditions
Understand your foam behavior at elevated pressures and temperatures.
Foam Analysis under Stressful Environmental Conditions
The FoamScan HTMP is designed to characterize the properties of aqueous foam generated by sparging a gas through a liquid under elevated temperature and pressure conditions.
Measure foam stability and foamability at temperatures up to 120 °C (248 degrees Fahrenheit) and pressures up to 8 bar (116 psi).
The FoamScan HTMP is outfitted with a specially designed foam measuring column to withstand these harsh environmental conditions. Foam generation, analytical setup, and capabilities are similar to the standard FoamScan.
A flowmeter precisely controls the gas injection through the glass frit. Stainless steel electrodes and image analysis measure foam and liquid volumes. The cell pressure is kept constant during the measurement.
The column can be cleaned via user-defined rinsing cycles at the end of each measurement for ease of use.
Complete Foam Analysis under High Stress Environmental Conditions
Like the FoamScan™, the FoamScan™ HTMP allows you to analyze the complete life cycle of your foam on a macro and micro-scale under harsh conditions.
